Teachers Donation Drive 2025

YKP Connect is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young professionals in the global diaspora. As part of our Community Impact Day initiative, we are organizing a donation drive to support newly arrived teachers and those facing need across Baltimore City and nearby communities with winter essentials and other items needed during this season.

Overview

The donation drive will take place in two parts.

Drop-Off Periods:
November 16 and 23, 2025

During this time, donations can be dropped off at designated drop-off locations. For online contributions, please refer to our donation list available through Amazon.

Donation Drive Day:
November 30, 2025 (2PM-5PM EST)
2750 Rogers Ave, Ellicott City, MD 21043

We welcome you to join us in person as we distribute the collected items, connect as a community, and enjoy warm refreshments together.

    Attending the Donation Drive Day, you can also bring in your donations on November 30th.

Donation Items

We welcome new and lightly used items in good condition. Below is a list of acceptable donation items.

  • Winter Essentials (coats, gloves, scarves, hats, thermal wear, blankets, and similar items)

  • Non-perishable Food Items (canned goods, dry foods, soups, grains, pasta, and other pantry staples)

  • Household Essentials

  • Books and Educational Supplies

  • Baby Items
