Who We Are

YKP Connect is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Maryland that exists to support young professionals across the global diaspora through education, mentorship, and community centered initiatives.

We serve individuals navigating various phases of their personal and professional journeys, including those in college, graduate programs, and early, mid, or senior career stages. Our work is grounded in the belief that when people have access to knowledge, guidance, and meaningful connections, they are better positioned to grow, contribute, and thrive.

A Message From Our Co-Founder

To our Global Community,

In July 2024, something special happened. At a Red Carpet Night hosted by fellow young professionals and supported by our community, we found ourselves in the middle of a vital conversation. It was a night of celebration, but more importantly, it was a night of listening.

As we spoke with many of you, we heard a recurring theme: you were looking for more. Specifically, we heard from young professionals in the global diaspora who wanted a space that truly understood their unique journey. You shared your hopes for growth, your career concerns, and your desire for a support system that bridges the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

YKP Connect Inc. was born from that feedback.
